Competition Period

This competition ("the Competition") commences on 7 September 2026 and closes on 17 September 2026 at 23:59 SAST. The winner will be announced on 18 September 2026.

Eligibility

- The Competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years and older.
- Employees, directors, agents, and consultants of One Deal A Day and Techbar Investments, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
- Only one entry per mobile number is permitted. Duplicate entries from the same number will be disqualified.

How to Enter

- Entry is free. No purchase is necessary and no purchase will improve your chances of winning.
- Complete the entry form on Facebook or Instagram with your full name and a valid South African mobile number that is registered on WhatsApp.
- After submitting the form, you will receive a WhatsApp message from One Deal A Day with instructions on how to confirm your entry.
- Your entry is only valid once you have confirmed it on WhatsApp as instructed. Unconfirmed entries will not be included in the draw.
- Entries submitted after the closing date and time will not be considered.

Winner Selection

- One (1) winner will be selected at random from all valid, confirmed entries on 18 September 2026.
- The winner will be notified via WhatsApp on the number used to enter, within 48 hours of the draw.
- The winner must respond within 7 days of notification to claim the prize. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternative winner.
- One Deal A Day will never ask a winner to make any payment in order to claim or receive the prize. Any request for payment is not from us and should be reported to admin@onedealaday.co.za.

Prize

- The prize is one (1) UrbanCruze Pro Electric Scooter, with a retail value of R12,999.99.
- The prize includes free delivery to a physical address in South Africa. Please allow up to 10 working days from confirmation of the winner's delivery details.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other item.
- One Deal A Day reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if circumstances require it.
- The product design may vary from images used in promotional material, but the primary function will remain the same.

Use of the Prize and Safety

- The scooter is designed for recreational and short-distance use on private property, estates, campuses and similar surfaces. It has a maximum carrying weight of approximately 120kg.
- The winner is responsible for using the scooter safely, for wearing appropriate protective equipment, and for complying with all applicable laws, municipal by-laws and property or estate rules governing its use.
- One Deal A Day accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use or misuse of the prize.

Marketing Consent

By entering this Competition, participants consent to:

- Receiving marketing communications from One Deal A Day via WhatsApp.
- The use of their first name and, where separately agreed in writing, their photograph or likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by unsubscribing from the Whatsapp Channel. Opting out will not affect a valid entry already submitted.

General Conditions

- One Deal A Day reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
- One Deal A Day reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms and conditions or who attempts to enter by fraudulent or automated means.
- One Deal A Day's decision regarding all aspects of the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- One Deal A Day accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not received for any reason, including network or technical failure.
- Delivery details will be arranged directly with the winner.
- One Deal A Day reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Competition if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary.
- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp). Entrants release Meta from all liability in connection with the Competition. Any questions or complaints must be directed to One Deal A Day, not to Meta.

Privacy

Personal information collected will be processed in accordance with One Deal A Day's Privacy Policy (https://onedealaday.co.za/page/privacy) and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

- We collect your name and mobile number for the purposes of administering this Competition and, where you have consented, for marketing communications.
- Your information will be stored securely and will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to its processing, by contacting admin@onedealaday.co.za.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, One Deal A Day accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by entrants in connection with the Competition or the prize.
